Ward was a born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 151976. Ward attended Monroe Christian School, a Christian private school. When she completed the requirements for high school she transferred to River Oaks High School in the summer before her junior year. In the school, she was a part of the drill and dance team. She was also a student at Northeast Louisiana University briefly after graduation. Ward dropped out of high school when she was thirteen years old and began modeling. Several years later she decided to attempt acting. The first time she was cast without credit in the late 1970s for the soap opera All My Children. Later she was a part of NBC's short-lived prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. She landed the role of Meg Cummings, a virgin in Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999, she began her film career playing Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic comedy The In Crowd. In theaters the film was a failure, but enjoyed an initial success on the cable market and on DVD. Ward later played a pivotal supporting role in Shallow Hal, a hit film. Ward has appeared in a several direct-to-DV films as well as appeared in several guest roles on a range of TV series. Most notably Friends. In 2009she got the part of Chloe Kmet kothe mother of one of the gymnas in on the ABC Family drama series Make It or Break It which was part in the principal cast for the first two seasons of the show. In terms of her private life, she is married to David C. Robinson. With him they had Cameron.
